Creation Ritual Design and Practice: The Mirror Crystal of Equilibrium by Anna Rhodes

The following ritual report was submitted by student Anna Rhodes. Students were tasked with designing and performing an original magical operation utilizing the principles studied throughout the semester. This report documents Anna’s exploration of equilibrium, empowerment, and crystal-based energy work through a uniquely visionary and intuitive ritual process.

Creation Ritual Design and Practice

Purpose / Intention

After reading the assignment for a ritual, I was meditating and saw myself as a wheel spoke radiating out to a circle made of mirrors that reflected my own brilliance back at me. THIS was the ritual that I wanted to create. One generating equilibrium and empowerment. I intended to utilize the elements, akasha, and anchor the energies into an egg shaped quartz crystal. I chose to follow my intuition with basic plans.

Opening – Establishing the Temple

1. Posture & Grounding

  • Sit upright
  • Spine aligned, body relaxed but attentive

2. Cleanse space and self

  • Light candles and incense
    • I instructed the fire elementals to cleanse the physical space and the crystal
  •  Quiet mind; cut cords to external sources

3. Enter astral temple

  • I entered my astral temple (magician’s forge) based on Nema’s book “Maat Magick” and went to my circle inside to carry out the ritual. (Upon entering I noticed a visitor and chose to continue my work.)

Creation of equilibrium/empowerment energies

  1. Held the quartz crystal both physically and astrally
  2. I wrapped elemental tungsten around the crystal to contain the energies I would place inside
  3. I placed my consciousness into the crystal
  4. Follow intuition with intent to place elements and akasha into self and crystal
  5. I looked up in my forge and saw Nuit and a sea of stars in the ceiling; under the floor was the underworld and everything in between. I pulled the underworld up through me into the crystal. I pulled Nuit down through me and into the crystal.
  6. I pulled in fire, air, water, and earth and placed them individually into myself and the crystal. Then I did the same with akasha.
  7. Place a reflective surface on the inside of the crystal
  • I envisioned the inside of the crystal as reflective; a mirror that would reflect the energies back to me. I sat in this energy for quite awhile and noticed a seed in the crystal-perhaps my consciousness? I experienced that feeling of equilibrium and empowerment or brilliance.

Programming and Seeding of the crystal

  1. I pulled a spark of energy from a sexual magic act done previously and placed it in the seed (I had banked it.) Then I placed one particle of gold into the seed as well.
  2. I programmed the crystal and battery to maintain the output of the energies of equilibrium and empowerment.

Becoming One with the Energies

  1. I pulled this energy/energies into my bodies
  2. The energy was VERY STRONG (almost uncomfortable). I felt like a god and knew I had the power of a god. I saw an image of being in the middle of the choirs of angels (a famous painting) and they were in awe. I had a knowing that what I did and could do is easy in this space and state. (I also had a conversation with my visitor at this time.)
  3. I felt as if I was one with everything and all was part of me or I of it.

Closing

  1. I withdrew my consciousness from the crystal and energies
  2. I left my astral temple
  3. Physically, I gave thanks and put out the candles
  4. I was almost in a stupor for quite a while; the experience felt very profound
  5. I put my consciousness back in the crystal to recheck the energy and programming. It was almost blinding (were the mirrors a good idea after all? I will reassess at a later time.)
