Before doing this ritual I found myself meditating and pondering the Arhatic Yoga higher levels that develop the Golden Body, Rainbow Body, and Diamond Body. I have only received training in developing the Golden Body. It is known that these bodies are a result of changes in the etheric and energy bodies, but I thought about these bodies from the perspective of varying levels of consciousness.
Golden Body: I am the Soul. Accumulates spiritual substance.
Rainbow Body: All things are expressions of the One. Recognizes interconnectedness. Unity in diversity.
Diamond Body: Discovers that interconnectedness is still describing something that was never truly separate. Reveals the unchanging reality within diversity.
I do believe these thoughts arose to prepare me for this homework assignment. I also recognize that the woman that performed this ritual is very different than a former self who would never have performed such a ritual. I became comfortable and eager to perform this ritual from a perspective that I was already one with the deity.
“What is bound is not my freedom, it is the reconciliation of what previously seemed divided.”
Ritual
Preparation
1. I prepared myself by bathing, spraying rose hydrosol onto my body, putting on a lovely sundress over my nude form, and fixing my hair and putting on beautiful earrings.
2. I prepared my tongo and ritual area by spraying a tobacco mist, by lighting a candle and then incense.
3. I prepared my bodies by cutting all cords, and running a centering, balancing, and grounding protocol. Then I brought nondual light into my bodies and circle.
4. I recited an affirmation and intention for the ritual.
“This ritual will deepen my participation in truth, love, wisdom, and conscious transformation. It will reveal what is real and beneficial, and I will remain grounded in discernment, compassion, and integrity.”
Entering the Oceanic Plane
I recited the phonemes Aoibh to manifest radiant beauty, as well as Ais, which causes awe. I imagined a serpent and practiced enetom, giving my senses over. Then I entered the serpent and chanted the phoneme Anghi, turning into the serpent.
I entered the water as a serpent undulating downstream and chanted the phoneme Uper to open the Oceanic plane. I perceived the blueness of the water and many serpents and beings in the shape of a triangle, leading me to my ancestor waiting at the point.
I recited An, which called mine in. Then I asked for my ancestor to guide me to Oipaengia, creating her seal and piercing through it as a serpent.
Oipaengia appeared a bit in the distance and I called her Canti several times.
“Oipaengia, fertile goddess,
Who makes all things sprout
With beauty, with beauty
Hear my call.”
I then offered her a peach and a cup of rose water.
Communion with Oipaengia
She approached me and appeared as a goddess similar to Hindu deities. Long dark and curly hair, full naked breasts, and beautiful beyond measure.
With her in front of me, I noticed I appeared back in a human form. She came face to face with me and no words were spoken. We both knew why I was there and what would occur.
I told her I came with devotion, trust, and the desire for transformation. She embraced me and I recited our polarities.
- Discipline ↔ Creativity
- Duty ↔ Desire
- Structure ↔ Beauty
- Accomplishment ↔ Expression
- Control ↔ Surrender to becoming fully alive
It was only when I recited these polarities that I felt the magnetic shift between us, pulling us together energetically. I saw us intertwined and penetrating each other’s light oscillations.
I began to perform teucaecom. It was playful and slow with mutual pleasure and delight. I saw us as an image of a Buddhist tantra couple; I was sitting on top of Oipaengia with my legs encircling her.
After orgasm, we stayed merged in each other’s energies and I recited these words to her:
“I enter into conscious communion with your divine current, allowing your virtues to awaken within me while remaining rooted in my own deepest conscience and highest understanding.”
Murim felt like a natural transition. I spoke:
“May what is born from this union serve beauty, wisdom, healing, and joyful participation in life. We are One. I am you and you are me.”
It felt as if I should give her something else, so I created a sphere and filled it with love from my heart. I gave it to her and I saw the sphere reform and circle around her finger like a ring.
We stared into each other’s eyes and I basked in the communion. When it felt complete, I gave a parting greeting in an honoring bow.
The Return to the Ancestor and Ataegina
I chanted the phoneme An to call my ancestor back and then asked for her to guide me to Ataegina, using her seal.
I noticed that my form shifted back into that of a serpent and I saw Ataegina as Medusa; her hair was serpents and serpents moved all around her.
I asked her to give me new life, returning to my body reborn. I stated to her what I wanted to bring back from Oipaengia; and what I was:
- Inspired service
- Creative leadership
- A fuller Anna
- A new identity
- Future inspired work
- And for all good things to sprout
Then I sang Ataegina’s Canti of phonemes; it was beautiful!
Ati to manifest renewal and Ghen, the powers of birth-giving.
When this felt complete I thanked her, undulating as a serpent back up the river and then returning to my body.
Grounding and Closing
I grounded by touching my heart and taking deep breaths.
I put out the candle and closed my circle.
I offered thanks and gratitude for the experience.
Reflection and Integration
At the conclusion of this ritual I felt a deep sense of sacredness, quiet peace, and contentment.
As I reflected upon the ritual afterward, I realized that its deepest gift was not the experience itself but the integration it represented.
The polarity I sought was not between myself and the deity, but between qualities within my own life that had long awaited reconciliation.
Oipaengia’s qualities were why I chose her; they are qualities I wish to express more fully as my life transitions. Through Oipaengia I experienced creativity, beauty, desire, and joyful participation as sacred expressions of the same consciousness that had already cultivated discipline, service, and perseverance.
Through Ataegina I returned carrying not a new identity separate from myself, but a fuller expression of who I am becoming.
I left the ritual with gratitude, recognizing that rebirth is not the abandonment of one’s former self, but the loving integration of all that one is.
